Special faces.....special places

John and Colleen Pfeifer, the owners and operators of VoWac Publishing, are both former educators with over forty years of teaching and administering between them.

John spent most of his 20 years of educating as an elementary principal.  He understands the dilemma of making budgets work and the importance of good curriculum in the development of a sound school system.  As company president and salesman, he will work with you to set up your pilot program or help meet all of your phonics and spelling curriculum needs.  vowac@vowac.com

Colleen has two majors, in elementary and early childhood education. She manages the office and is busy rewriting the curriculum to better meet the needs of today's classroom educators and students.  With 24 years of education background - from kindergarten through high school, and gifted and talented through special education - her varied background gives much insight into the needs of usable curriculum for a typical classroom.

Our Skills and Spelling Programs were originally written by Mary Gomer.  As a certified reading specialist in the state of South Dakota, Mary's interest in reading problems led to her training with the Rochester Reading Clinic and Orton-Gillingham.  Much research and a challenge from one of her professors led to her writing VoWac. vowac@vowac.com

John and Colleen purchased the company from their former partners, the Gomers in 2002.  It is their voices heard answering the phones at their known nationwide "mom and pop" company, or one of the following employees:

Lacy Sprenger does the bookkeeping for accounts payable.  She is also in charge of packing and shipping out the materials that you order from our company.  She can answer any shipping questions you may have. vowac@vowac.com

Roberta (Bert) Seidschlaw (pronounced /seed'  schlaw/) takes care of VoWac's accounts receivable and is your "Go to Gal" if you have a question about your invoice.  Bert is usually the first person you'll talk to when you call our offices.  Bert's office email is also vowac@vowac.com.
